This reception desk in a law court's office in London had had numerous coats of varnish applied to it over the years, and these had started to peel and crack. We chemical stripped it by hand, then gently sanded it to remove any damage, taking care to not damage the veneer. All surfaces were then stained with a light fast stain and sealed, before being finished with a lacquer for maximum durability.

Late Georgian dining chairs

Late Georgian dining chairs, replicated in Brazilian mahogany by our cabinet makers. The three new chairs were then stained and polished to match the existing seven and complete the set.
